Elizabeth Embler rediscovered her creative spirit while studying for a paralegal certificate. Upon entering an art studio, with all the smells, images, and materials of the creative work, she felt an immediate visceral connection and began a new direction as an artist.

Elizabeth studied with Professors Sara Ringler and Franny Golden at Cape Cod Community College.  She also studied with painter Sam Fienstein in Dennis, MA, Professor Joel Baab at the Museum School in Boston, and with artist Jim Peters at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum.

After exploring many styles and medium, she has found her passion in mixed media abstract painting.

Elizabeth has participated in juried shows at the Cape Cod Art Association and Museum , Provincetown Art Association and Museum,  and Paradise City Arts Festivals. She also had a solo exhibition in the boardroom at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod in 2007. Her current work was exhibited at Gallery 31 in Orleans, Boatmeadow Gallery in Dennis and is presently at Sarah Jessica Fine Art in Provincetown.
